South Carolina born and raised, discovered her love for fishing and engineering at an early age. From tearing things apart and rebuilding, fishing from banks and roadside ditches, to her dad ensuring she and her siblings were in church every Sunday morning.

Now, she’s an engineering manager, community activist, and fitness instructor, remaining deeply rooted in her hometown. In her free time, she’s a passionate angler—on the water, head up and hammer down, fishing for both sport and joy.

“Fishing has always been a part of who I am—my earliest memories are with my dad and grandparents, heading to the Millpond with a truck full of cousins. We caught everything from bream to eel, and grandma cooked everything we brought home. Creating vivid memories that still ground me today.

Now, I’m not just competing; I’m driving the boat. It's empowering, still, every tournament, every cast, is an opportunity to learn and a chance to prove—to them and most importantly myself—that I belong. I chose engineering because women are underrepresented in STEM fields, and I bring that same drive to fishing and fitness. I’ve found a sisterhood, women who inspire and uplift, and men who’ve mentored and supported me along the way.”
